Based on Alan Lightman's novel. Written by Wesley Savick (in collaboration with the artists from Underground Railway Theater), Einstein’s Dreams takes us inside the mind of Albert Einstein, a brilliant young patent clerk in Berne, Switzerland, 1905, as he re-conceives time. The cast features actors Steven Barkhimer, Robert Najarian, and Debra Wise, as well as accordion virtuoso Evan Harlan, who has created an original score. The performances are followed by open conversation with the artists and special guests from the scientific community. Sponsored by the Cambridge Science Festival, Einstein’s Dreams is the first full production of the Catalyst Collaborative @ MIT, a partnership between MIT and Underground Railway Theater to create and present plays about science and technology. Performances between April 19 - 29 at MIT's Broad Institute Auditorium. Limited number of paperback copies signed by the author at this event available for sale - $12. Email us for availability.
